Jim Temple

We are sad to report that Jim Temple, the originator and webmaster of the NLAS website, passed away recently following an
illness.  If you attended a National Lum and Abner Society Convention from 1990 to 2005, chances are you met Jim, a
pleasant gentleman who always had a ready smile and laugh.  Perhaps you met his wife Suzette or their children or
granddaughter.  Jim was one of our most enthusiastic members, and always pitched in to help in the hectic set-up process
at the meeting room in Mena, Arkansas, and never failed to be there when it was time to take everything down.  He even
volunteered to store various large items for us at his home, dutifully loading it up and transporting whatever it was back to
Mena year after year.   Below is the official obituary for Jim.  Please keep his family in your prayers and thoughts as they deal
with this loss.

If anyone reading would like to send comments to the Temple family, we will be happy to forward them on.
